Catherine Liyun Zhang joined Kajko, Weisman & Colasanti, LLP in 2019. Attorney Zhang received her Juris Doctorate degree from Boston University School of Law with a concentration in intellectual property law. Prior to her doctoral studies, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Peking University and Master of Science degree in chemistry from Michigan State University. Before joining the firm, Attorney Zhang worked at a boutique law firm in the greater Boston area and a prestigious international law firm in its China headquarters. Attorney Zhang's practice focuses on corporate law, estate planning, employment law, and intellectual property law. She advises for-profit and non-profit corporations on complex corporate matters, including formation, corporate governance, venture financing, M&A, and intellectual property related cases. She represents a wide variety of clients ranging from individuals, startups to small and large companies.

Attorney Zhang devotes her time to civic activities and community volunteering. She is active at local community services and serves on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations. She is regularly invited as a panelist to present topics on corporate law and estate planning. Attorney Zhang is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
